It's very important that you practice answering these types of questions before you do the IELTS.

Now, let's look at some of the "don'ts", some things you shouldn't do in the IELTS.
現在我們來看看在雅思考試中哪些是不該做的。
What are things you shouldn't do?
有哪些事情是不應該做的呢？
Now, we're going to look at a list of what you shouldn't do. So "don'ts".
現在我們討論的是“不要做”列表，也就是“don'ts”。
Don't do this. Don't speak with a monotone.
別說話沒起伏，總是一個調子。
I already mentioned this. Don't speak where your voice is flat.
之前已經說過，不要聲音太平。
Don't speak like, "I have a mother and a father." Don't say things like that.
別死氣沉沉地說“我有一位母親和一位父親。”
Speak with enthusiasm. Not monotone.
有活力一點。
Don't give yes/no answers. "Do you have a family?" "Yes." That's a horrible answer." It's more -- "Have you traveled to China?" "No."
不要只回答“是或否”。“你有家庭嗎？”“有。”這個回答太糟糕了。“你去過中國嗎？”“沒有。”
These types of answers are not the ones you want to give.

Expand. Make your answer longer, even if you have to lie.

It's okay to lie on the IELTS as long as you speak. That's the most important thing.
在雅思考場上只要你張口說，編造一個答案也完全沒問題。記得這一點。
Do not repeat the question. If they say, "Do you like sports?" "Yes, I like sports." You're wasting a sentence.
不要重復問題。要是考官問，“你喜歡運動嗎？”“是的，我喜歡運動。”這樣答的話你就浪費了一個句子。
Instead of repeating the question back to them, find a better way to say it.
別重復句子，而是找到更好的說法。
"Do you like sports?" "Yes. There are many sports that I find very fun and interesting." Don't repeat the question.
“你喜歡運動嗎？”“很喜歡，我對很多運動都很感興趣，非常有意思。”記住，別重復問題。
"Do you have a family?" "Yes, I have a family." It's not a good thing to do.
“你有家庭嗎？”“有，我有家庭。”別這么干。
