Candidate 1：I remember that was 2006 when I had my first visit to Suzhou on my own. Suzhou, a famous cultural city with a history of more than 2,500 years, features over 200 ancient gardens. The small private gardens are especially renowned nationwide and reflect architectural styles of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

In two days, I hurried through six scenic spots. The river in spring was gracefully pleasant with its unpleasant with its unparalleled beauty. The pavillions threw their shadows in the water. What's more impressive were the blooming peach flowers vying(與……競爭，爭奪) with each other in showing their beauty. When I walked for half an hour in the sun and suddenly saw a stretch of bamboos I could not help crying out, "I'll go and sit there." After another hour's work, a murmuring stream came into my view. The water was so clear that I could see through it to the bottom. The pebbles(鵝卵石) under the water were visible and even countable. I put my aching feet into the stream. Oh, the water was running across my feet. It was cool but not cold. I could not but admit that it was a most pleasant and comfortable moment.

Life is just like a journey. What is more, you have to hurry on the way, braving the scorching sun and burdened with luggage, while crossing over the mountains and slops. Then you feel rewarded by a short rest. If only I could walk less and rest more!

Candidate 2：It was the holiday of the National Day in 2004 when Dad drove Mum and I to Mount Pan in Tianjin. As it was the first holiday since I entered the high school where I lived apart from my parents for a whole month, it was expected to be exciting and wonderful, and indeed, it was. Through I've traveled many places with my parents since I was a little girl, that trip was the warmest, most wonderful and relaxing one because we felt free to talk about anything we like. We climbed the mountain the next morning, and actually it was not so beautiful as we would expect of one with trees, flowers, a great peak or other amazing things, but it become the greatest trip for all of us. At that time, I shared with them my feelings and thoughts of new life in the high school, and they treated me as an adult. That trip was more than a holiday, for it was a time when I felt being deeply loved; it was a time when I felt I was living in a great family full of love, warmth and happiness. All of us cherish that fantasitc trip in our hearts.
