第四講 網(wǎng)絡(luò)電腦

都說現(xiàn)在是一個(gè)信息時(shí)代，人們早就發(fā)現(xiàn)自己越來越依賴電腦和網(wǎng)絡(luò)。似乎沒有了它們，我們就會(huì)度日如年，顛倒錯(cuò)亂。在近期的雅思口語考試中，涉及到網(wǎng)絡(luò)網(wǎng)站的話題也不在少數(shù)，而對于電腦的描述自然也會(huì)占有一席之地，具體請參考朗閣教育集團(tuán)最新出版的《每天三小時(shí)沖刺雅思口語》一書。

現(xiàn)在我們就跟著該書主編沙莎老師，一起來看一下關(guān)于這兩方面的考題吧。

關(guān)于網(wǎng)絡(luò)的考題在第二部分通常會(huì)考到網(wǎng)站，與此相關(guān)的考題還有關(guān)于如何得知該網(wǎng)絡(luò)的：

◆ How can you find the website?
◆ How did you manage to find this website?

也有關(guān)于網(wǎng)站內(nèi)容和網(wǎng)站的影響的：

◆ What is the website about?
◆ Why do you like it?
◆ What’s the effect of the website on you?
◆ How do you benefit from it?

還有一些考題針對的是家用電器，其中有提問電腦的，有提問電視的，還有以其它電器做考點(diǎn)的。這些考題大多大同小異。通常會(huì)提問這些電器的使用頻率、用途：

◆ How often do you use your computer?
◆ Why do you use it?

此外還會(huì)涉及到它們的缺點(diǎn)和將來的發(fā)展方向：

◆ How will computers develop in the future?
◆ What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Internet?
◆ How helpful are the home appliances?

Do you have piles of books and don’t know how to take them for recycling? Have you ever searched almost all of the local bookstores but still cannot find your most coveted book? I have!

在上一講中我們提到可以在結(jié)尾的時(shí)候用反問句。其實(shí)在開頭處，設(shè)問句也是一個(gè)很好的選擇，就是所謂的自問自答。也是一種高分的策略。在這里我選擇了問別人是否和我有一樣的經(jīng)歷或體驗(yàn)。這樣做很能引起別人的共鳴。當(dāng)然，這種問題必須是和考題結(jié)合的非常緊密的。

When the first book out of seven in the Harry Potter series, the Sorcerer’s Stone was published in the United States, I searched almost every bookstore in Shanghai in vain. And just when I was downhearted, one of my friends recommended Amazon and I got this book sent to me.

在這里，用了in vain這個(gè)詞組，表示“徒勞無功”。而downhearted這個(gè)形容詞的意思是“心灰意冷”，有一些夸張的用法。

After that, it became my favorite website. The website is a great marketplace to find anything, from books to clothes to movies and to furniture. It stocks millions of products for the home, garden and office. And there is the amazing ‘sell your stuff’ link.
