Er, yes. Dr Cartwright...do you think future generations are going to live longer than they do now? In my opinion, yes, at least if trends continue the way they're going in developed countries at any rate. By the year 2020, over twenty percent of the population in developed countries will be over eighty.Just think about that. But I think the real problem will be to try to find ways of making people not just live longer-but to have a better quality of life.
And of course the big challenge is the third world where life is much, much shorter than in the developed world.
