25日上午，廣東省政府召開“五一”黃金周新聞發布會，正式公布“五一”放假全套方案：5月1日至7日放假，其中1日為國家法定節日，2日、3日為周末，4日、5日與9日、10日對調，6日、7日為帶薪年假。
On the morning of 25th, Guangdong provincial government held the press conference on “May day holiday”, in which they officially announced the proposal for May day holiday: from May 1st to May 5th, including 1st as the official national holiday, with 2nd and 3rd as the weekend, 4th, 5th and 9th and 10th swapped, and the 6th and 7th as the annual leave with salary.

黨政機關、事業單位除了負責公共安全、公眾服務部門都要求留人值班，盡可能做出安排支持省政府的決定。窗口服務部門應公布干部職工休假信息和安排；在彈性安排休假時間的同時確保公眾辦事窗口正常運作。
The Party and department administrations, the enterprises and institutes are required to allocate the employees to take duty besides the departments in charge of safety and public services and make arrangements to support the decision of provincial government. The window service department should announce the notice and arrangements of the officers and staff. Meanwhile, the public windows business should be open flexibly during the holiday.
