We do not choose to be born.
We do not choose our parents.
We do not choose our historical epoch
or the circumstances of our up bringing.
But we do choose how we shall live,
honorably or dishonorably.
我們不能選擇出生，
我們不能選擇父母，
我們不能選擇生活的歷史時期，
以及我們成長的環(huán)境；
但我的的確可以選擇我們的生活方式，
充滿榮譽的還是灰溜溜的。
