HOMELAND
A coast extends further, physically zigzagged
Winds flitting over ripples of water
Whose eyes could reach the inward homeland?
Once frosty snow after stormy rain
Instinctive desires flow vigorously
From fringes and skirts, through the heart
A sandstorm of locusts draws near the village
Beyond the limit of seasons
Where is the homeland? Where is the dead-end?
Tides ebb and flow, day after day
A coast extends ever outwards
Life is the undying flame within heart
Homeland is homeland forever
No matter of warmth or decline
Flowers fallen, water flowing with time
Once clear waters around green hills
A twinkling star flies over ferry
Across wells and banks, into fields
The homing birds close in couples
Turn to the inland of the coast at dusk
Who could reach the former homeland?
A coast extends ever further, free and ancient
The flowing water floods all the wounds
Whose eyes could reach the inward homeland?
