A weekend to Remember
一個難忘的周末
My sister finished high school two weeks ago.
我的姐姐兩星期前高中畢業了。
As s special gift, our parents took us to India for a holiday.
作為一個特別的禮物,我們的父母帶我們去印度度假。
We visited many interesting places and had a wonderful time.
我們游覽了許多有趣的地方,度過了歡樂的時光。
Last weekend was interesting but scary.
上個周末很有趣但是也很恐怖。
We went camping in a small village in India.
我們去了印度的一個小村莊里野營。
First, we took a long bus ride to a lake in the countryside.
起初,我們乘坐長途汽車去了鄉下的一個湖邊。
There we put up our tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food on.
在那里我們支起了帳篷,生火取暖并烹飪食物。
On the first night, we just sat under the big moon and told each other stories.
在第一個夜晚,我們坐在大大的月亮下面,給彼此講故事。
But I was so tired that I went to sleep early.
但是我太累了,早早就睡著了。
The next morning, my sister and I got a terrible surprise.
第二天早上,我的姐姐我和收到了一個可怕的驚喜。
When we looked out of our tent, we saw a big snake sleeping near the fire.
當我們向帳篷外面張望時,我們看見一條大蛇誰在火堆旁邊。
I was so scared that I couldn't move.
我太怕害了,都無法移動了。
We shouted to our parents to let them know about the danger.
我們對著父母叫喊,讓他們知道危險。
My dad started to jump up and down in their tent.
我爸爸開始在他們的帳篷里面上上下下地跳。
This woke the snake up and it moved into the forest near the lake.
這吵醒了那只蛇,它移動到了湖附近的森林里。
My dad told me later that snakes don't have ears but can feel things moving.
過了一會兒,我的爸爸告訴我,蛇沒有耳朵,但是能感覺到物體的移動。
He also told me it was important not to go near a snake.
他還告訴我,一定不要接近蛇。
This was a very useful lesson for me.
這對我來說是非常有用的一課。
