Mrs. Jones did not have a husband, but she had two sons.
瓊斯太太沒有丈夫，但她有兩個兒子。
They were big, strong boys, but they were lazy.
兩個男孩既高大又強壯，卻十分懶惰。
On Saturdays, they did not go to school, and then their mother always said,
周六他們不用上學，于是每到周六他們的媽媽就會吩咐說：
“Please cut the grass in the garden this afternoon, boys.”
“今天下午請把花園里的草割了，孩子們。”
The boys did not like it, but they always did it.
兩個男孩不喜歡割草，但每次都會完成任務。
One day, their friend gave the boys a magazine,
一天，他們的朋友給了兩人一本雜志，
and they saw a picture of a beautiful mower in it.
他們看到雜志里有一張圖片，上面是一個非常漂亮的割草機。
There was a woman on the mower.
割草機上有一個女人。
The boys took the picture to their mother and said,
男孩們把圖片拿給他們的媽媽看，說道：
“Look, that woman is sitting on the mower and cutting the grass.
“看，這個女人坐在割草機上割草。
We want one of those.”
我們也想要。”
“One of those mowers?”Their mother asked.
“一臺割草機嗎？”他們的媽媽問道。
“No, we want one of those women.
“不，我們想要一個那樣的女人。
Then she can cut the grass every week.” The boys said.
這樣每周割草的事兒就可以交給她了。”男孩們說道。
