Lesson 2 It's Getting Warmer!
第2課 天氣變暖和了！
Dear Jenny,
親愛的珍妮：
Today is March l.
今天是3月1日。
Spring has arrived in Shijiazhuang.
石家莊的春天已經來臨了。
The temperature was l0℃ this morning.
今天早晨的溫度是10℃。
This afternoon, it reached 15℃.
今天下午，溫度將達到15℃。
It was quite warm and the air was fresh.
天氣非常暖和，空氣很清新。
I need neither my heavy winter coat nor my boots now!
我現在不需要穿冬天的厚重外套和靴子了。
On my way to school this morning,
今天早上在去學校的路上，
I saw some winter jasmine blossoming.
我看見了一些迎春花在盛開。
Here, people believe the blossom of this flower always tells the coming of spring,
在這兒，人們認為這種花兒的盛開預示著春天的來臨，
so we call winter jasmine "the welcoming-spring flower".
所以我們把它稱為“迎春花”。
The days are getting longer and the sun rises earlier in the morning.
白天變得越來越長，太陽越來越早的升起。
The warm sunshine feels good after the cold winter days.
在冬季過后，溫暖的陽光讓人感覺很舒服。
Every morning,I see lots of people exercising in the park.
每天早晨，我看見許多人在公園里鍛煉身體。
Some practice Tai Chi.Others sing and dance.
有人在打太極。有人在唱歌跳舞。
Children run around or play on the swings.
孩子們在周圍跑，或者在蕩秋千。
We will have a school basketball game next week.
我們下周將舉行一個籃球比賽。
My class is also planning a field trip to the countryside.
我們班還計劃去郊區郊游。
We will plant trees,enjoy the beautiful flowers and play games.
我們將種樹、賞花、做游戲。
Wow!I can't wait.
