水的談話
Dora was in the bathroom. The tap was on.
Dora 在浴室里。水龍頭開(kāi)著。
“Turn that tap off,” said an angry voice.
“把那東西關(guān)了,”一個(gè)憤怒的聲音說(shuō)。
“You're wasting water.”
“你這是在浪費(fèi)水。”
Dora looked around, but there was no one there.
Dora 看了看四周,一個(gè)人也沒(méi)有。
“Who are you?”
“你是誰(shuí)?”
“I'm a drop of water. Do you know where I come from?”
“我是一滴水。你知道我來(lái)自哪嗎?”
“From the tap?” asked Dora.
“來(lái)自水龍頭?”Dora 問(wèn)。
“A few days ago, I was in a cloud,” said the drop of water.
“幾天前,我在一朵云里,”那滴水說(shuō)。
“Then I dropped into a river and ran into a reservoir.
“然后,我落進(jìn)了一條河里,流到了一個(gè)水庫(kù)。
Then it was time for people to clean me.”
然后,人們對(duì)我進(jìn)行了凈化。”
“Clean you?” Dora asked.
“凈化你?”Dora 問(wèn)道。
“Yes. I was dirty. They cleaned me and added some chemicals to me.
“是的,我(原本)是臟的。他們凈化我,并給我加入了一些化學(xué)物質(zhì)。
Then I travelled through the pipes under the streets and now I'm here.”
然后,我穿過(guò)街道下面的管道,現(xiàn)在我來(lái)到了這里。”
Dora asked, “So is this the end of your journey?”
Dora 問(wèn)道,“這就是你旅程的結(jié)局嗎?”
“No. People will make me clean again.
“不,人們會(huì)再次把我處理干凈。
I'll go into a river and then into the sea again.”
我會(huì)被排到江河里,然后再次流入大海。”
“Again?”
“再次?”
“Yes. My journey starts there.
“是的。我的旅程從這里開(kāi)始。
Remember not to waste or pollute me. I'm valuable.”
切記不要浪費(fèi)或污染了我,我是有用的。”
Dora turned the tap off and came out of the bathroom.
Dora 關(guān)上了水龍頭,走出了浴室。
