log n.圓木；記錄；航海日志 v. 伐木
[記](méi)lo長(zhǎng)得像數(shù)字“十”；g是哥哥。十個(gè)哥哥在伐木。
[注]最初人們都是把記錄和航海日志刻在圓木上的。blog，博客，就是“網(wǎng)絡(luò)日志”的意思。
[搭]log in 登入（進(jìn)去開(kāi)始記錄）
[例]The local farmers log for a living. 當(dāng)?shù)剞r(nóng)民靠伐木為生。
dialog(ue) n. 對(duì)話
[記](méi)帶（di-）著愛(ài)（a）而說(shuō)（log），成就一段對(duì)話（dialog）。
[注]-ue是法語(yǔ)后綴，是沒(méi)有意義也不發(fā)音的，現(xiàn)在英文中已經(jīng)可以不寫(xiě)，所以可以直接寫(xiě)成dialog。
logic n. 邏輯；邏輯學(xué)；邏輯性
[記](méi)發(fā)音就是“邏輯”。
[變]logical a. 有邏輯的 illogical a. 沒(méi)邏輯的
catalog n. 產(chǎn)品目錄；圖冊(cè)
[記](méi)把貓（cat）的類(lèi)別都記載在一個(gè)（a）日志（log）上，就成為了一個(gè)貓的圖冊(cè)（catalog）。
[例]Excuse me，can I see your catalog?你好，可以看一下你們的產(chǎn)品圖冊(cè)么？
technology n. 科技，工藝
[記](méi)音“太考腦邏輯(te-ch-no-lo-gy)”。科技那么難，學(xué)到菊花殘；太考腦邏輯，記住是奇跡。
[變]technological a. 科技的 technical a．技術(shù)上的 technician n. 技術(shù)人員（-ian表示“人”)technique n. 技巧; 手法(technology+u-nique; 獨(dú)特的工藝就是技巧、手法)
[例]The technological innovation is the fuel for the development of our society．科技創(chuàng)新是社會(huì)發(fā)展的燃料。
craft n. 工藝；手藝；飛行器
[記](méi)可（c）以讓?zhuān)╮a）人飛天（f-t）的機(jī)器叫做飛行器（craft）。
[串]制造飛行器是很講究工藝的，手藝不好可不行。
[變]aircraft n. 飛機(jī)；飛行器 spacecraft n. 太空飛船
slogan n. 口號(hào)；標(biāo)語(yǔ)
[記](méi)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)視察工作的時(shí)候，往往大手一揮：“筒子”們，慢慢干（slo-gan）！莫浪費(fèi)啊！所以慢慢干就是我們的slogan。
banner n. 橫幅；標(biāo)語(yǔ)
[記](méi)音似“扮那”。裝扮那里，要掛個(gè)banner。
[例]The slogan in the banner reads: Get up earlier than the sun，and your dream will came true！橫幅上的標(biāo)語(yǔ)寫(xiě)到：搏他個(gè)日出日落，拼他個(gè)無(wú)怨無(wú)悔！
motto n. 座右銘；格言
[記](méi)魔頭（mo-tto）都有自己的座右銘：不瘋魔，不成活。
[例]During these months, you should change your motto to“Go for success, being obsessed; then your life，will progress.”考四級(jí)這幾個(gè)月你應(yīng)該把自己的格言改成：“要成功，先發(fā)瘋，下定決心往前沖！”
language n. 語(yǔ)言；表達(dá)能力
[記](méi)懶鬼（lan-gu）多少歲（age）都學(xué)不好lan-gu-age。
confess v. 坦白；承認(rèn)；懺悔
[記](méi)大家（con-）都說(shuō)，我們非（fe）常喜歡思思（ss），這是一種坦白和承認(rèn)。思思配不上大家的喜歡的話，就要懺悔（confess）。

[搭]confess to sth. 承認(rèn)某事 make confession承認(rèn)；懺悔

claim v. 聲稱(chēng)；要求；認(rèn)領(lǐng) n.聲稱(chēng)；要求；索賠
[記](méi)客（c）官～來(lái)嘛（lai-m～）,把我認(rèn)領(lǐng)（claim）回去～神馬？不？我要求（claim）你來(lái)嘛～！不來(lái)我就索賠（claim）了哦！
[例]The judge claimed that the claim of the attorney was unreasonable.法官聲稱(chēng)辨方律師的要求是不合理的。
exclaim vi. 驚嘆；呼喊 vt. 大聲說(shuō)出
[記](méi)ex-往外：claim說(shuō)。往外大聲說(shuō)出，是在驚嘆和呼喊。
[例]Standing on the top of the Mount Everest, the adventurers can't help but exclaim: what a magical planet we are living in! 站在珠峰頂上，探險(xiǎn)隊(duì)員們?nèi)滩蛔◇@呼：我們住的星球可真神奇啊！
proclaim v. 宣布；公開(kāi)聲明
[記](méi)pro-往前：claim說(shuō)。領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人宣布事情都是往前對(duì)大家說(shuō)的。
[變]proclamation n. 公告；聲明；宣言（注意，i被省略了，因?yàn)樗緛?lái)就是一個(gè)不重要的連綴。上面所有的claim結(jié)尾的詞的名詞變化都是這樣，比如驚嘆就叫exclamation。)
[例] Chinese government proclaims that Taiwan is a permanent part of Chinese territory.中國(guó)政府宣稱(chēng)臺(tái)灣永遠(yuǎn)是中國(guó)領(lǐng)土的一部分。
