計算題中應注意對話中的具體數字，抓住其類型是時間，還是價格、重量、或數量以及其針對的相關動作或事件，在聽的過程中有目的地做筆記，為以后計算做好充分的準備。以下為與數字相關的常用詞匯及表達方式。

【解析】 原文中出現4個數字，首先，聰明的你必須分清楚它們分別代表什么，之間有什么聯系：“10”代表一張面值10美元（bill）的應付鈔票，“2”代表要買的2張門票（tickets），“1.40”代表所找的1.40元零錢（change），“1”代表問題中問到的1張門票值多少錢（cost）。再來計算，不難發現 (10-1.40)/2=4.30，答案為B選項。

【解析】 原文中共出現兩個數字，因此在聽的過程中注意與這兩個時間有關的動作或事件。5:30代表航班起飛的時間，明白leave代表只剩下15分通關的意思，不難聽出它們之間的加減關系，所以A和C可以排除，剩下用減法，答案為B。
