四級聽力考試中的段對話部分有八個簡短對話構成，要求考生能聽懂英語國家認識的日常對話，把握討論的主題，抓住中心大意或其中的細節，然后從所給的四個選項中選出最佳答案。四級聽力段對話的場景十分廣泛，但以貼近學生生活和學習以及日常生活和工作的場景為主。我們將常見的場景分為以下8類：
