Lesson 03 Dialogue Welcoming Overseas Clients

Don: Steve, it's so good to see you again. How was the flight?

Steve: It was great. I'm still jet-lagged, though.

Don: Oh no, hope you feel better soon. So, you're here to attend the annual conference this time?

Steve: Also, if time permits, I'd like to check out the Food and Beverage Exhibition.

Don: Oh yeah? We are planning to introduce our new organic dressings at the exhibition.

Steve: Believe it or not, that's also why I decided to make the trip to New York. This may even turn out to be a great opportunity to meet new potential partners.

Don: Take a look around. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Steve: Well, right off the bat, I like how you can easily spot the new products in the hallway displays.

Don: Thank you for saying that. We decided to go with hallway displays because we are kind of pressed for space. Any questions regarding the conference?

Steve: Would you take the time to introduce the new products in the conference as well?

Don: We'd like to if we weren't so pressed for time. Since when have you been on such a health kick? You seem very keen on organic products.

Steve: Since the bean counters crunched the numbers and found that we could save a lot by bringing in a new product line.

Don: Okay, you're the boss. Tell me what needs to be done before you return to Canada.
