Improved performance at Carter& Sons
There was good news in Carter & Sons’ annual (0) yesterday. 21、這題要理解整個(gè)句子，同時(shí)分析詞語的意思。是說三年的重組（restructure）在公司的一份積極的報(bào)表里達(dá)到了最高潮，這份報(bào)表先于將于八月初發(fā)布的官方中期結(jié)果。首先從意思上看，terminate表示終止，肯定不選，重組不會(huì)因?yàn)橐环莘e極的報(bào)表就終止，何況還是非官方的；accomplish和complete都表示實(shí)現(xiàn)、完成，也不對(duì)，重組(restructure)的實(shí)現(xiàn)，一定會(huì)通過官方的報(bào)告來宣布，不會(huì)通過一份簡(jiǎn)單的積極的報(bào)表，所以從意思上看，應(yīng)該選擇culminate，達(dá)到高潮。
22題，中期的結(jié)果，interim results，不能選outcome，outcome是指the result or effect of an action or event。某個(gè)具體的行為或者某件事的結(jié)果，比較正式。
23題，去年同期，用equivalent。
