To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to recommend Mr. shilling as a worthy candidate for the Ph.D.
program at your prestigious university.
I became familiar with Mr. shilling after he joined my research group to do his bachelor thesis, XXX, in the second semester of the academic year 1997-1998 when I was an adviser for the XXX Company, a computer technology companyfounded by the Peking University. I was deeply touched by his diligence an d intelligence. During the seven-month period when he was in my group, Mr.shilling demonstrated excellent programming skills and an ability to command new technology. As an undergraduate, his work was far beyond my expectation
He was also deeply involved in one of the large projects of the Jade Bird Company, the Management Information System for XXX. In this project, we integrated geographical information and management information into the same system. His hard work won him high compliments from project managers and colleagues. He cooperated well with the other team members. He often gave valuable advice to and discussed inspiring ideas and concepts with them. It was his team spirit, which I believe is most important for scientific research that impressed me most.
As a teacher, what pleases me most is to see a student continue his study and accomplish research that would help him realize his potential. So I was very delighted when Mr. shilling told me he would like to pursue his advanced
studies in your honored computer science program. I am confident that Mr.shilling will be successful with his future computer science research and contribute greatly to your program as he did in my group.
I highly recommend Mr.shilling to your graduate program and would greatly appreciate it if you would consider accepting him. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
