以下是一位考生參加完2012年11月25日的新GRE考試之后總結(jié)的新GRE機經(jīng)回憶以及一些備考建議，希望大家看完后能夠受到一些啟發(fā)，認真?zhèn)淇?，獲得理想的成績。
剛考完，獻上機經(jīng)。VQVQV，最后一個V不知道是不是加試，一開始連續(xù)10個閱讀，然后10個填空。Q170，V就不說了。
105 Claim: Imagination is a more valuable asset than experience.
Reason: People who lack experience are free to imagine what is possible without the constraints of established habits and attitudes.
71.The following is a letter to the editor of the Waymarsh Times."Traffic here in Waymarsh is becoming a problem.Although just three years ago a state traffic survey showed that the typical driving commuter took 20 minutes to get to work, the commute now takes closer to 40 minutes, according to the survey just completed.Members of the town council already have suggested more road building to address the problem, but as well as being expensive, the new construction will surely disrupt some of our residential neighborhoods. It would be better to follow the example of the nearby city of Garville. Last year Garville implemented a policy that rewards people who share rides to work, giving them coupons for free gas. Pollution levels in Garville have dropped since the policy was implemented, and people from Garville tell me that commuting times have fallen considerably. 數(shù)學(xué)：
考前刷了一遍以前的題，考試的時候發(fā)現(xiàn)有很多不在機經(jīng)里的，現(xiàn)在寫機經(jīng)的時候發(fā)現(xiàn)很多機經(jīng)里是有的，真的是做中文和英文的感覺不一樣。所以機經(jīng)的題不要太依賴，影響心情就不太好了，愿后來人考試順利：
1. 比較大?。?次根號下270 減去 3次根號下10 與 3次根號下80
答案是相等。
2. 比較大小：若1
ace的median和bdf的average 答案不一定
3. 比較大?。簒=a/(a+b+c),y=b/(a+b+c),z=c/(a+b+c), xyz的average和1/2
答案后者大
4.以前有的，比較大?。簍he volume of hemisphere if radius is k和the volume of the right circular cylinder if the height is k and base radius is k. 后者大，right circular cylinder是圓柱體
5.比較大小：the hour that a ship cover 40miles, the speed is 18 某種單位(1個這種單位=1.15miles per hour) 和2 hours 比較，后者大
6.比較大小：以前的機經(jīng)有類似：比較兩個一元方程slope大小，一個為5X+Y+3=0 一個為Y-5X+3=O
7. 以前的機經(jīng)有類似的 有500個人做兩道題，答案只能是yes和no，其中第一道題答yes的人是410，第二題答yes的是220，兩題都yes的至少多少人 (130)
8. 填空題 9.1*10^(-3) 是0.0091
9. 數(shù)列an=n!/(2n)!. 問a11/a10 1/42
10.填空題，以前機經(jīng)有類似的，不過那個機經(jīng)寫得太不詳細了，說一個公司賣V這個東西，costs是每瓶12.08元+4.8元的運費不論你買多少。recent years the standard deviation of 100 orders is 1.5 bottles, 問這the costs of 100 orders 的standard deviation是多少。直接1.5*12.08就好了。
11. r and t are consective numbers (-1)^(r^2+t)和-1比較大小。。相等
12. 以前有過的多選：X, Y 為正整數(shù)，且XY=24， (1)x+y<25, (2)if x is odd, y is even, (3) 12/y is integral 答案是(2)
13.多選probabily of females is p, probabily of student under 19 is r, probabily of females and under 19 is 0.3, 問p和r的可能值，5個選項，答案有兩個p=1, r=0.3; p=0.5,r=0.6等。只要找1>=p>=0.3,1>=r>=0.3,且p+r<=1.3就好
14.點(a,-a)在直線y=-1/2x+3上，a=多少 答案 -6
15.一個圖表題，第一排是years; harvest arce; the average of barrels per acr; total harvest ($1000)給了5年的數(shù)值，分別計算
(1)計算in dollars, 有幾年的the per arce havest is more than $5000 總的total 除以harvest
(2)In 1996有47 farms in state X, 計算in dollars, the per farms havest
(3)具體忘記算什么了，反正就是用總的除以前兩列的數(shù)值，大概是$610,000這個數(shù)
16.圖表題，有兩年1991和1997的圖書銷售分類餅圖，問
(1)如果在第一年的others(占12%)里有40%是supermarkets的，問supermarkets的銷售百分比是多少4.8%
(2)說如果
(3)多選，以下3個哪些可以確定。選項
(a)和總數(shù)有關(guān)，不對
(b)in 1991 the first three greatest parts are also the most greatest parts
in 1997;這個是對的，直接看圖
(c)if the total numbers in 1997 is doubled than 1991, then the total
numbers of small books in 1997 is greated than 1991
(是對的，因為small books在1991是33%，1997是17%)
17. 有個圖，PQ是園直徑，角pqt是45°。。s在pt之間，r在qt之間，問arc pst和arc qrt的大小。 相等
18.還是有個圖，圖上有坐標抽，三角形三個頂點是(-k,k), (k+2,k), (k,2k)，問三角形面積 k^2+k
19.以前有個類似的，一個x抽，n是0, k是1, m在nk之間，如果nm的長度等于mk和nk的平均值，問m的坐標 2/3.
20.比較大小一個坐標軸，有四個點依次為pqrs, pq is half of qr and 3/4 of rs，比較ps和 4 times of pq。。。。。前者大
21.填空題; $36000 投資simple interest一個月獲利$360,問年利率r是多少。 。。 12%。 注意是年還是月而且是simple interest
22. the ratio between two legs of right triangle is 3, hypotenuse is 根號下40， 問直角三角形周長的范圍。。。。。。答案是 between 14 and 15
23. 一個八邊形在園里面，然后八邊形分成八個三角，問每個三角的底角多少度;67.5
24. 一個鐘擺，擺長36，然后擺的度數(shù)是X，擺出的弧長相對的弦是41，求角度：我記得是算出啦接近65度
25. 比較大小， n,p都是正整數(shù) (n-p)(n^2+np+p^2)和n^3-p^3。。。相等
26.以前機經(jīng)有過的p(x)定義為不同質(zhì)因子的個數(shù)，p(12)/p(9)。。答案是2
27. 定義f(n)=n(n+1)/2, 比較f(10)-f(9)和f(4)的大小。。。。。相等
28. 以前機經(jīng)有過一班90人, 一次考試,所有pass人的mean是84, fail人的mean是60, 所有90人的average是80....問有多少人pass。。。。。。。答案是75
29. 根號下y^2=8，比較 3^(2y)和3^(-2y)大小。。。。答案是不確定，因為y可是是負的。
30. a,b,c均為正整數(shù)，a/c=0.075, b/c=0.09, 問C最小是多少。。。答案是200
31. 15n除以6的remainder和2比較大小。。。。答案不確定，余數(shù)0或者3.
32. 還有一個類似街道的圖，感覺怪怪的，進入的A有128輛車，然后每次路口都會有一半的車選擇其他方向。B在右下。問最后到達B的有多少輛車。。。。。答案是88。不要管中間如何轉(zhuǎn)，只計算有多少輛是出去就可以。分別有兩個方向出去，一個是右上從C出去32輛。另一個是左下從D出去8輛。。下面是簡略圖，CD是我自己編的。
