In the past, the children of Asia
had very few choices.
A son would usually follow in
his father's footsteps and do
the same kind of job as his father.
But now, young people
have higher education which opens doors
to new kinds of jobs.
They're investing in stocks
or dying their hair purple.
Unfortunately, some are also
getting into trouble with sex and drugs.
Asian parents whose children are doing
all this do have a reason to be worried.
在過去，亞洲的孩子基本沒有選擇可言。
兒子通常會追隨父親的腳步
同時做跟父親同樣的工作。
但是現在，年輕人接受了更高的教育，
這就給他們打開了通向各種職業的大門。
他們投資股票或者把頭發染成紫色。
很不幸的是，
有一些同樣受到色情與毒品的毒害。
亞洲的家長若有做這樣事情的孩子，
沒有理由不為其擔憂的。
