Joey: All the way① to the airport huh? You know that’s over 30 miles②, that’s gonna cost you about so bucks.
喬伊：一直開到機場？那都超過了三十英里，我估計大概要“王十元”。
Director: Excuse me, that’s 50 bucks.
導(dǎo)演：對不起，你說錯了，是50元。
Joey: What?1
喬伊：什么？
Director: Five-O dollars.
導(dǎo)演：5—0—元。
Joey: Ohh, you know what it is? It’s smudgy ’cause they’re fax pages. Now when I was on Days of Our Lives as Dr. Drake Remoray,2 they’d send over③ the whole script on real paper and everything.
喬伊：哦，你知道我為什么說錯了嗎？字糊了，因為是傳真發(fā)給我的。我在《我們的日子》里演德雷克大夫的時候，他們會送來用真的紙打印的整個劇本來。
Director: That’s great.
導(dǎo)演：那很棒啊。
Joey: And, and just so you know④, if you wanted to expand this scene like, like have the cab crash or something, I could attend to the victims ’cause I have a background in medical acting.
喬伊：還有，如果你想加長這場戲，比如像是，像是出了車禍之類的劇情，我可以照顧傷患，因為我有醫(yī)務(wù)劇演出的背景。
Director: OK, listen, thanks for coming in.
導(dǎo)演：好，聽我說，謝謝你來。
Joey: No no, uh, don’t thank me for coming in.3 Uh, at least⑥ let me finish. Uh, we could take the expressway but uh, this time of day you’re better off taking the “budge”. You were goin’ for the word “bridge” there, weren’t ya? I’ll have a good day.4
喬伊：不，不，嗯，先別謝謝我來，至少讓我演完。啊，我們可以走高速公路，但這種時候，我們還是走“轎”比較好一點。你們的意思是“橋”對不對？祝我今天愉快。
