故事是這樣的：
Louisa Clark is a British girl who is living in a beautiful small town.
被咖啡店開除后，她找到了一個照顧病人的工作。
這個病人叫做Will.

He was a banker who was completely paralyzed（癱瘓） by a motorcycle accident two years ago.
兩年前在美國被摩托車撞倒全身癱瘓后，Will就回到了家鄉英國修養。

剛剛開始照顧Will的時候，Louisa被他的冷漠搞得不知所措。
Although it is not happy at first, Louisa still goes to will's house every day wearing her wearied colorful clothes.

慢慢的Will被開朗的Louisa感染，開始和她有了一些交流。
Louisa also learns that Will was a guy who loves his life.

He loves skating, swimming, traveling, climbing mountains. He had a beautiful girlfriend, a successful career. He lived a wonderful life.

但這些，在Will癱瘓之后全都不見了。
他的女朋友馬上就要嫁給他的好哥們了。
And Louisa accidentally finds out that Will has given his parents six months before they must bring him to Switzerland for euthanasia.

在得知Will和他父母的六個月協議之后，她決定制定一系列的計劃帶Will出去找尋快樂。
She hopes she can change his mind.

They spend a very happy and lovely time together. They even danced in Will's ex –girlfriend's wedding.

But at the end of their trip, Will still wants to end his life. She is heartbroken.

生活在這個小鎮上這么多年，Will 是唯一一個懂她的人。她能不能理解Will， 陪他去瑞士送他最后一程，看著他離開這個世界呢？
