Note that there is a difference
注意，在what與which這兩個詞之間
between the two question words "what" and "which"

"what" has many possible answers what
對應多種可能的答案
What color is your favorite?
你最喜歡什么顏色？
"which" only has a few possible answers which
只對應有限的答案
Which do you prefer: red or green?
你喜歡哪種顏色，紅還是綠？
We can also use compound question words
我們也可以使用復合疑問詞
to show what we are asking about
來表達我們的提問內容
"how much" suggests we are asking about money or quantity how much
表示我們正在詢問價格或質量
How much do apples cost?
蘋果多少錢？
How much string do I need?
我希望多長的繩子？
"what time" suggests we are asking about when something will happen what time
表示我們正要詢問某事發生的時間
What time does the movie start?
電影什么時候開始？
When we asked questions, we change the word order
當問問題時，我們要改變詞序
so that the verb goes before the subject
將動詞置于主語前
Are the cats on the roof?
貓咪們在屋頂上面嗎？
the subject of this sentence is "the cats"
句中的主語是“貓咪們”
the verb of this sentence is "are"
句中的謂語動詞是are
in our first dialogue
