Two more bodies found, raising death toll to 292 in ROK sunken ferry

The confirmed death toll from the April 16 South Korean ferry disaster has risen to 292. Two more bodies, including that of a teacher, were found in the capsized ship on Sunday. Twelve remain missing.
自4月16日韓國渡輪事故發(fā)生以來,確認(rèn)死亡人數(shù)已升至292人 。周日,在沉船中新發(fā)現(xiàn)兩具尸體,其中一人為教師。目前仍有12人失蹤。
The body of Yoo Ni-na, a Danwon High School teacher, was discovered on Sunday morning. The 28-year-old was found without a life jacket on the third deck of the ship. Yoo was said to have retreated to the lower decks in an attempt to rescue her students. Divers also found a male body on Sunday night on the fourth deck. A DNA test will be performed to identify the victim.

Families of the victims are demanding that video footage taken by the Coast Guard on the day of the disaster must be preserved. They submitted a petition to the courts on Monday. President Park Geun-hye announced last month she would disband the Coast Guard because of its poor handling of the incident.
