韓國導(dǎo)演洪尚秀的電影《在外國》是爭奪戛納電影節(jié)最高獎項的亞洲電影之一。

As the film festival reaches its half way point South Korean director Hong Sang-soo premiers his film "In Another Country", followed by "Like Someone in Love" by Iran's acclaimed director Abbas Kiarostami. They are two of only three Asian films competing for Cannes’ top prize in a year that sees the competition dominated by American and European films.
Kate Parkinson, Cannes, said, "Asian films are relatively thin on the ground here but it has been a good year for Asia in other competitions. Iranian director Nanni Moretti says he is looking for a film the 'surprises' him. We'll find out at the weekend if an Asian film manages to do that, and picks up the top prize."
