When Billy Gilman was getting famous all over the world, another genius singer sprung up in Britain as well. He was only ten in that year, younger than Billy, and stroke high wave in Europe with his debut album Declan. He is Declan Galbraith who also involved in the Genius Book by holding the largest scale of chorus.
2002年，當比利•吉爾曼風靡全球的時候，英國也出現了另外一位天才歌手迪克蘭•加爾布雷斯，而且他比前者更年輕，當時才十歲，不但以他的首張專輯《Declan》轟動歐洲，他還締造了另外一項《吉尼斯世界記錄》成就了有史以來全世界規模最龐大的合唱。
The grand chorus happened in Belfast tour concert .There the host company connected more than 80,000 children all over Britain and Ireland through telephone and network to make them sing with Delcan. The innocent voices were filled with purity and sounded like angles.
當他在貝爾法斯特巡回演唱的時候，主辦單位通過電話與網絡的連線，讓超過八萬名兒童，在英國與愛爾蘭的每一個角落，陪伴著他一起演唱。純凈天真的童聲繚繞，仿佛一群天使在歌唱，清澈，純潔而不含雜質。
Delcan was born in a village and lived with his grandfather who performed Irish traditional music in a pub. Delcan showed his talents rather early, at the age of 8, he won 16 champion titles within 14 months in competitions. This, of course, raised the attention of music producers and they soon signed the contract with the little genius.
迪克蘭出生于一個小村莊，從小便跟著在小酒館表演愛爾蘭傳統音樂的祖父，很早就顯露出驚人的天賦，八歲那 年，他開始參加當地一些才藝競賽，在短短十四個月的期間內，拿下了十六個冠軍，也引起了唱片界高度的興趣，沒有多久，就得到了唱片合約。
But the media would never be kind to child stars and some even said he would end up with drugs and alcohol and his parents would finally get divorced. But it turns out the loving parents support their son and his career. Little Delcan expressed he wanted to take good care of his parents and buy him some toys and then leave the rest to the bank.
英國媒體對于童星通常不是太客氣，甚至有的媒體預言，他將會沉溺毒品和酒精而其父母則會最終離婚。而事實是迪克蘭的父母，表示他們將一直支持迪克蘭做他喜歡做的事情。而小迪克蘭也說道他想好好照顧家人，給自己買點玩具，如果還有錢剩，就存進銀行。
Voices would be changed usually when boys are getting 14 or 15. And it’s a headache for Delcan but fortunately his voice remained so at the age of 14, which helped him to make the album Thank You. But we can still feel changes in his vocals and he is getting closer to pop music and the theme turns to more mature. We have to say the little boy has grown up.
男孩們一般都會在十四、五歲的時候開始進入變聲期。迪克蘭也面臨著這樣的尷尬，不過幸運的是，他十四歲，還得天獨厚地沒有開始變聲，成功地錄制《Thank You》這張專輯。但是，我們仍然會發現，他的唱腔也變化了，流行趨勢更加明顯。并且主題也開始成熟起來，讓我們深切地感受到他的成長。
Though his voice has changed a lot and he has some problem singing some parts but his songs are still worth appreciating. Now it’s said he goes to college to finish his study and maybe he wouldn’t shown in TV or release new albums in these years but he would come to you with new style years later. He is worth our waiting.
盡管他的聲音還是變化了，有一些部分已經唱得不再像以前那般自如了，但是他的歌曲依舊值得回味。據說現在他在大學深造，近期內都不會亮相也不會發專輯，但是，說不定不久后，他就會強勢回歸，真是值得我們的期待哦！
