If you love Justin Biber, then you would know Never Say Never. If your favorite star is Will Smith, then you would know The Pursuit of Happiness. And if you know them all, you also would know Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith and the friend of Biber.

Jaden came to be known through costarring with his father in The Pursuit of Happiness. The crew was busy finding the right one to play as Will’s son just before acting. Then one day, Jaden just said to his father” Let me have a try.” During the audition, his father was surprised to find little Jaden had already remembered the line.
小賈登和父親合作的《當(dāng)幸福來敲門》讓他走進公眾的視線。這部電影開拍前，劇組為其中兒子的扮演者傷透了腦筋。突然有一天，賈登對爸爸說不如讓他試一次。試鏡中，爸爸驚訝地發(fā)現(xiàn)他的兒子已經(jīng)能記住幾乎所有的臺詞了。
His audition convinced all with comments like “he inherits a lot from his father”. Well, it’s not that easy for him to win the role though he learned the line by heart during his parent’s conversation. Will said Jaden needed to do more for his team would never give him the privilege. Actually he did take 6 screen tests before settling down.
劇組成員都被他震住了，感嘆他可真是遺傳了父親的表演能力。但是呢，獲得這個角色也不是那么容易的，即使在父母談話中熟悉了臺詞，照他爸爸的說法，他也得更努力而不是靠什么特權(quán)。事實上，6次試鏡后，這件事才最終敲定。
The son and father’s acting portrays a moving American Dream and encourages more to fight in plight. Jaden got more after that movie. Especially The Karate Kid in 2010 in which he got the chance to costar with Jacky Chan, the famous Kung Fu star all over the world.
父子傾情演繹出了一個感人至深的美國夢，讓更多人在絕境中奮力拼搏。而小賈登也收獲不少。特別是在2010年， 收獲了出演《功夫夢》與功夫巨星成龍同臺演出的機會。
He practiced martial arts at the age of 3 and kept learning after that. In spite the early learning, he received intensive training before acting. “I love this for it helps build my muscles.” Jaden said so and even showed his eight- pack abdominals. Jacky Chan praised him for doing all the actions without stunts and predicated him to be the next action star in 5 years.
賈登3歲習(xí)武，具有一定的基礎(chǔ)。但為了做好全面的準(zhǔn)備，他還是在開拍前進行了集訓(xùn)?！拔蚁矚g這樣，我已經(jīng)有了不少漂亮的肌肉了。”他驕傲地說并展示了8塊腹肌。成龍也盛贊小賈登在劇中的無特技的精彩表演，并預(yù)言他在5年后定會成為動作巨星。
Besides acting, he also did dabble singing. He sang together with Biber for the theme song Never Say Never. But he declared he would track his parents’ route to grow into a big star. At the same time, his father has a way to guide him. He is always telling his son to be more diligent and never allows him to use stunts. Would he be a super star under father’s guidance? Let’s wait and see.
