The film Your Highness was on April 8. It is a rather reasonless comedy. Many popular actors are in it like Natalie Portman. But today we are going to talk something about Zooey Deschanel who stars the princess grabbed away by the evil witch in Your Highness.

Zooey Deschanel is regarded as American sweeties for her blue eyes and black hair. Actually she has both French and Irish birth. With a French grandfather, she got the French family name as Deschanel. While her name is from The Catcher in the Rye as both her parents love the story.
佐伊•丹斯切爾是美國影星，藍眼睛，黑頭發的她，作為大眾視野里的浪漫喜劇“小甜甜”，出演了多部校園青春劇和浪漫喜劇。因為祖父是一個法國人，她便有了一個法國姓，而因其父母喜愛《麥田里的守望者》便以其中人物的名字為她命名，佐伊除了祖父的法國血統，其他血統都來自愛爾蘭民族。
She used to learn acting in a summer camp and then dropped out from school to pursue her dream of acting. Her debut acting in Veronica's Closet won her fame immediately, which won her many chances in other films like Mumford etc.
佐伊曾經參加過一個夏令營班學習表演，然后輟學追求她的表演生涯。她在1998年參與了第一部TV作品"Veronica's Closet"中的一段情節后迅速走紅。后來她便有了其他的片約如次年她出演的第一部電影《曼福特醫生》。
She has been casting 20 films more or less till now. But the films with her as the leading role are not that many. She was willing to act as a supporting role especially in The Good Girl with Jennifer Aniston and Almost Famous with Kate Hudson. Maybe that’s why she is never that famous although she has been exposing in many films.
在她目前出演過的20部電影中，除了藝術和獨立電影，由她擔當主角的主流影片寥寥可數，她曾經多次甘當綠葉，尤其是跟詹妮弗•安妮斯頓在《好女孩》中以及和凱特•哈德森在《成名在望》中，佐伊都做了極有力的襯托演出。這也許就是她為什么盡管出演了這么多部電影，名號卻還是不夠響亮的原因吧。
Besides acting, she is keen on music. She plays the piano since childhood and is a crazy fan about Jazz and she even formed a Jazz band. In 2008, her debut record Volume One came out which was followed by a second one Volume Two in 2010. Her music won rather good comments.

She has a taste for old music and clothes in ancient way. Her looking reminds you of Hollywood stars in the early period. She confessed so:” I’m passionate about shopping and I have the bizarre dress for I would act a milk woman in 16 century!” Well, this is special Zooey, maybe we can’t take her as an ordinary one!
她喜歡老音樂和衣著復古的風格，比起其他好萊塢大部分女星來說更容易讓人回想到早期的好萊塢女明星。她也坦誠說：“我對買衣服十分上癮，我有各種各樣奇怪的衣服，說不定哪一天我就被要求打扮得像十六世紀的擠奶工。”這就是佐伊，一個奇特的女子！
