This morning I would like to tell much more sentence patterns used to express something spoken of is impossible to be real. It's just a speaker's subjective wishes or conjectures. It is "If S did, S might do." 表示對某人將來或是現(xiàn)在做某事的可能性很小甚至機(jī)會沒有。

Jenny明知道John的這次試驗(yàn)是不會成功的，但是為了不打擊John的積極性，還是鼓勵(lì)John說到：If you tried again, you might be successful. 如果你再試一次，你可能會成功的。
