1.big-ticket
意思：（美式英語）costing a lot of money 高價的
如：Cosmetics commodities is usually descrided as big-ticket.
化妝品一般價錢都很高。
2.coupon
意思： small piece of printed paper that you can exchange for something or that gives you the right to buy something at a cheaper price than normal 配給券；（購物）票證；（購物）優惠券
如：I have a coupon for ten pence off a packet of soap.
我有一張優惠券，買一盒肥皂可以便宜十便士。
This coupon can be redeemed at any of our branches.
這種息票可在我們的任何分行兌現。
3.tip-jacking
意思：adding in a tip or increasing the one you gave them 夾入小費或增加小費
4.from scratch
意思：without any previous preparation or knowledge 從頭開始；從零開始
如：There were so many spelling mistakes, I had to write the letter out again from scratch.
這封信的拼寫錯誤太多，我得重寫一遍。
