1.Posture n. 姿勢，態(tài)度，情形

如：The artist asked his model to take a reclining posture.
畫家要求模特取斜倚著的姿勢。

She has very good posture.
她舉止很優(yōu)雅。

The government adopted an uncompromising posture on the issue of independence.
政府在獨立的問題上采取了毫不妥協(xié)的態(tài)度。

2.Pose v. 擺姿勢，造成，提出

如：Stop posing and tell us what you really think.
別裝蒜啦，告訴我們你的真實想法吧。

Heavy traffic poses a problem in many old towns.

3.runway n. 跑道，懸索道，河床，滑溝

如：A plane this size can't fly off such a short runway.

4.flop v. 笨重的摔，猛落，笨拙地拋下

如：The fish we'd caught flopped around in the bottom of the boat.
