Viewing location
Picnic lunch

Blanket (optional)
Step 1: Choose a viewing location(選擇一個觀賞點)
Choose a viewing location. Spread a picnic blanket with your name on it under the trees to mark your place if you have selected a popular viewing location.
Step 2: Unpack your picnic lunch(自帶午餐)
Unpack your picnic lunch and enjoy your meal with friends while viewing the cherry blossoms.
Step 3: Look at the cherry blossoms(觀賞櫻花)
Observe the blossoms from a distance and up close. From far away, the blossoms resemble clouds; viewed more closely, the delicate structures of the individual blossoms come into view.
Step 4: Observe the color of the blossoms(注意觀察花的顏色)
Observe the color of the blossoms. Most cherry trees produce light pink to pure white blossoms, but some blossoms are dark pink or slightly yellow.
The color of some cherry blossoms may change while they are in bloom.
Step 5: Observe the leaves(觀賞櫻花的葉子)
Observe the leaves, if any, on the trees. On early blooming trees they may not appear until after all the blossoms have opened. With late blooming trees, they tend to appear before the blossoms.
In Japan, the fleeting beauty of the cherry blossoms is considered symbolic of the brevity of life and the frailty of existence.
