1.forthright 直截地，馬上，立即

如：His forthright behaviour shows that he's honest, but he seems rude to some people.

2.empathy 移情作用，共鳴，執著投入

如：There is a strange empathy between the old lady and her grandson.

3.aggressive adj. 侵犯的，攻擊性的，有進取心的，強烈的，迅速生長的

如：He has an aggressive manner.
他的態度咄咄逼人。

His style of argument in meetings is not so much aggressive as pertinacious.
他在會議上的辯論態度并非鋒芒逼人而是堅持己見。

4.civilized adj. 文明的，有禮的

如：The use of torture must disgust any civilized person.
施用酷刑必為文明社會的人所不齒。

Such behavior is unacceptable in a civilized society.
這樣的行為在文明社會里是不能接受的。
