Yesterday morning John was working at the bookshop when he heard a loud noise. He ___(1)___the window and saw something frightening. A large bus had just ___(2)___ into a truck. The policeman asked John if there was a telephone in the bookshop. John told him there was a telephone by the cash register.The policeman ran over to the bookshop and called an ambulance.
