People have uploaded their proposals on airplanes, on helicopters.

"I want you to marry me."

Or at the beach.

"Why put it on YouTube when you know there's plenty of derision to be had?"

"Everybody wants an audience to really show how much you really love this woman."

They often involved shocked doubt.

"Third one is a marriage proposal from your boyfriend James."

"Oh, my God!"

Crist Tosstu camera crew was lurking in an SUV. Crist set out to surprise his girlfriend during their daily run.

"I mean it take a lot of planning it. My good friend Brian was a videographer for a bunch of TV shows and I told him my overall plan that I would gonna pretend to spray my ankle and that he would be hiding in the back of a car and get it all on tape."
