Lesson 53 Country Life
My parents prefer to live in the country.
The streets there are cleaner. The air is
fresher and the people are nicer and
friendlier. Besides, it is busier and noisier in
the city. But above all, it is safer to live in the
country. My parents believe in the saying,
"Safety first."
鄉(xiāng)間生活
我爸媽比較喜歡住在鄉(xiāng)下。那兒的街道比較干凈。空氣較新
鮮，人也比較好，比較友善。而且，都市里比較忙碌，也比較
吵。不過(guò)最重要的是，住在鄉(xiāng)下較安全。我爸媽都相信這句格
言：“安全至上。”
