約會是人們經(jīng)常進行的一種交際活動，要注意在約會時不犯禮儀方面的錯誤(inappropriateness)，我們應(yīng)該將“約會”列成一個項目進行學習。約會是一個相互詢問，約定時間、地點以及參加活動，互相交談的過程。
Dialogue
M: Will you be free this evening, Professor Luo?/羅教授，您今天晚上有空嗎？
L: Yes./有空。
M: I have a few questions about my paper that I like to ask you. Could I come over about eight?/我的論文中有幾個問題，我想問問您，我8點鐘去您家行嗎？
L: By all means. Why don't you come earlier and have dinner with us?/當然可以，你為什么不早點來，和我們一起吃飯？
M: Thank you. I'd like to, but I'm afraid I can't tonight. I'll come over at eight./謝謝你，我很愿意和你們一起吃飯，但是恐怕今天晚上不行，我8點再過去找您。
L: Fine. I'll see you later then./好的，再見。
M: Thank you!/好的，謝謝!
