2. Blow up in your face

在眼前爆炸（事情完全弄砸了）

That blew up in my face. = That occurred opposite to my plan.

這件事情與我預料相反，完全弄砸了。

例子：My attempt at stealing from the company blew up in my face when I

was caught and fired.

我圖謀侵占公司的財物，結果弄砸了。我被抓到，并且解雇了。

3. Bologna

胡說，瞎說。

That is bologna. = That is not true.

那不是真的。

例子：He said that he did his homework but the dog ate it, but we knew that it was bologna.

他說他的作業(yè)寫好后被狗吃了。我們都知道那是胡說。
