朋友是用來做什么的？

●     set someone up

e.g My colleague at work is so cute. I know it would be easy to set someone up with her.

     我公司的同事好可愛哦，我想幫她介紹男朋友一定很簡單。（意思是說人家男生肯定很容易看上她呢）

●     hook someone up

e.g I would love to hook someone up with my handsome brother.

      我很想幫我的帥哥弟弟介紹個女朋友。

●     got set up

e.g I got set up with my new girlfriend by a mutual friend of ours.

       我的新女朋友是透過我們倆共同的朋友介紹的。

●     got hooked up

e.g My boyfriend and I got hooked up through a relative of his.

          我和我男朋友是通過他親戚介紹認識的。

Tip: Puppy Love “小狗狗的愛”

我們很多人初戀都是在高中或者大學時代。這就是puppy love（小孩子的，不成熟的愛情）。Puppy love可是甜蜜的回憶。

We have just started seeing each other so right now I’d say it’s just puppy love. Maybe it’ll develop into something more serious.

我們現在剛剛開始交往，所以還只是“小狗狗的愛”，也許以后會發展成比較正式的感情吧！

Recall: Seeing someone 是“有固定異性朋友”的意思，可不是“正在看某個人”哦.
