pence: 便士（penny便士的復數(shù)：pennies）

rattle: 叮當作響＝tinkle
roar: 呼嘯（重點突出老虎、獅子等大動物的吼叫聲）
shout at: 大喊大叫＝bark at

    fasten up

advise: 建議
advise sb.to do sth.:說服某人做某事（失敗的結果）
persuade sb.to do sth.:說服某人做某事（成功的結果）
instead: 相反的是
