其形容詞有兩個：令人--ing；感到--ed

surprise 最常用，但意思膚淺
shock 不快的事情
astonish 難以置信的事

When a plane from London arrived at Sydney airport, workers began to unload
a number of wooden boxes which contained clothing. No one could account for
the fact that one of the boxes was extremely heavy. It suddenly occurred to
one of the workers to open up the box.He was astonished at what he found. A
man was lying in the box on top of a pile of woollen goods. He was so surprised at
being discovered that he did not even try to run away. After he was arrested, the
man admitted hiding in the box before the plane left London. He had had a long
and uncomfortable trip, for he had been confined to the wooden box for over ten
hours. The man was ordered to pay &345 for the cost of the trip. The normal
price of a ticket is &230 !

clothing在分類時強調衣服這一種類
clothes表示“衣服”的單數名詞的復數形式

no one knows.....沒人知道
account fo：explain解釋（令人滿意的）

一個句子跟在一個名詞后，可以是：
1、定語從句
2、同位語從句
my friend Lucy
i know the fact that he doesn't know
i do know the fact that he doesn't know
1、同位語從句后的that是起解釋說明的作用
而定語從句是起修飾的作用
2、that在從句中做主語或賓語成分，則是定語從句
that在從句中不能做主語或賓語成分，則是同位語從句
be astonished at對某件事吃驚
be surprised at對某件事吃驚
